Odette 2018 Conference was taken place in Lille France on 12/13 November. For this year, the topic was focused on “The Drive to Digital: Disruption or Discovery”. The transformation of business drove by digitalization is commonly referred to as digital disruption. Under this circumstances, businesses must be agile and focus on responding efficiently to fundamental changes. Odette International has always been at the forefront of the information revolution thus the topic was re-focused during the conference this year.
As representative of Cedex, Mr. Mingguang Cheng and Mr. Bin Liao have joined the conference this year. During the conference, Cedex has given a speech on digitalization of supply chain as well as the analysis of current market in China. Cedex also met several cooperation partners from all around the world and had a deep discussion about digitalization and cooperation opportunities.
On 14th November, Cedex and committee of Odette International had a bilateral meeting in Lille. Both parties have reviewed the RA cooperation of Odette CA, also discussed the further cooperation of MMOG.np in Chinese market. Cedex and Odette International are both very satisfied with the cooperation for past years, meanwhile looking forward for further cooperatively programs in various prospects.

The acquisition of Encode Networks makes PipeChain Group a stronger player within digitalization of supply chains with focus on the Automotive Tier 1 segment as well as end-to-end supply chains including OEM’s and Tier 2.
There is a huge potential in this market space, which the two combined companies will be able to explore faster, for the benefit of their customers. Encode adds approximately SEK 15 million in turnover, resulting in PipeChain Group revenues of more than SEK 70 million in 2018.
The cooperation between Encode and Cedex will continuously followed by PipeChain and Cedex. Cooperation between PipeChain will creates a stronger position for both parties in Chinese and Sweden automotive supply chain market as well as many other industries.
