On 28th February, 2017, National Standardization Technical Committee of Logistic held a conference in Beijing, aiming in discuss various of logistic standard proposed by leading institutions and enterprises of logistic industry. Proposed by Cedex, the project in “Transport label in automotive manufacturing” is approved by the committee as an industrial standard. This document propose the standard of label in identify the size, material, and other attributes of Product Packaging Unit (PPU) and Transport Packaging Unit (TPU). With this standard, Chinese automotive industry could reduce the costs and realize a high-efficiency logistic management.

In order to celebrate the first milestone achieved in Volvoproject, staffs of Cedex hold a memorable party on 24th Feb 2017. The achievement belongs to the cooperation between Encode Sweden and Cedex, thus both groups toasted via Skype and celebrated this remarkable moment. For providing a better service and accelerate the progress, an upgraded special-boardband will be placed between Cedex and Encode Sweden. The new special-boradband will ensure a stable and efficient connection for customers, and benefit the data transformation for JIS manufacture of Volvo. It is believed that the next cornerstone will be coming soon.
